Due to the increasing number of staff and growing requirements with regard to professionalism of the company’s employees, on the one hand, and the need to improve the efficiency of HR management, on the other hand, a need arose to create an integrated automated HR management system in the company, in which this system would cover as many business areas as possible.

Prior to making a decision on the commencement of the project, the existing HR management solutions were analyzed for conformity within the degree of VimpelCom activities. According to the results of the study, a solution based on Oracle’s E-Business Suite was chosen. This decision was made, in particular, based on the functionality of the system, plans for the development of Oracle’s E-Business Suite functionality and the possibility of integration with the existing ERP platform of VimpelCom.
