AT Consulting has completed a project in selecting ABS for Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan

AT Consulting Company announces the successful completion of the organization of the project for the selection of automated banking system (ABS) for the National Bank of Kazakhstan.


As one of the steps in the strategic development, management of Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan, there was a decision to develop a new IT strategy and implementation of a modern banking system and the strategy for the development of the financial organization.

The objective is to analyze systems, pre-selected by the Bank and the subsequent organization of the tender for the selection of the ABS supplier.

The contract to carry out this work as a result of the competitive selection was awarded to AT Consulting.

The project started in December 2005 and lasted 4 months. The project consultants of AT Consulting implemented three phases - preparation for the evaluation of suppliers, organization of the tender and formalization of the results. Analysis of the functional capabilities of systems is made according to the main activities of the Bank: strengthening the current market position and offering the market new products.

The main requirements of the Bank for the future are to support the ABS single integrated client base, flexible configuration of banking products, the ability to customize business processes, and a willingness to further develop the supplier in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
