AT Consulting has automated the process of account management in information systems of Leto Bank. The company has applied Oracle Identity and Access Management Suite 11g to control of user identification and access to different IT systems of the bank within the project.
Leto Bank was established in 2012 as an organic addition to the retail business of VTB group for long-term and successful operation in the financial market of Russia. The rapid growth in the number of its employees and the presence of developed IT infrastructure dramatically hampered the process of account management. The implementation of Oracle Identity and Access Management Solutions enabled the bank to reduce costs associated with account management and speed up business transactions by shortening employment time and organization of trainings and access to the main IT systems. In addition, the system enhanced the level of information security by providing an opportunity for the bank to ensure and control safe access to the resources, make a quicker response to changes in the relations, and protect the confidential information from unauthorized users.
“Employee account management is rather a labor-consuming process, and business units, the information security department, the IT department, and the HR department have a concern in effective ensuring of it. The users are required to create, change, and trace a login and password in each IT system and consider different access privileges and roles in the systems. The process automation carried out in a short period of time has reduced operational risks, has helped to secure very important applications and vulnerable data and build interaction between the business users, and has maintained the high rate of bank development,” stated Vladimir Troyansky, the head of Leto Bank IT infrastructure department.
The project started on December 20th, 2012. AT Consulting specialists completely executed the project, namely, accomplished engineering design and creation of a prototype, implementation, and integration into five IT systems of the bank in two months. Nowadays, the system is in commercial operation. Development of the infrastructure allowing of central control of user access to information resources of the bank, reduction in the authentication man-hours and building up of a unified authentication center will be carried out in the future.
“The implementation of Oracle Identity and Access Management is one the first projects on infrastructure solutions in Leto Bank. We have managed to build an effective model of cooperation between all the project participants including those who responsible for development and operation of IT systems. The well-coordinated efforts of the implementation team have helped to fulfill the tasks set by the bank in a very short space of time,” said Ilya Groznov, the project manager on the part of ATConsulting.
Oracle Identity and Access Management is certified in accordance with information security requirements of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) of the Russian Federation.
