AT Consulting Pacing Application Management Service Outsourcing Market for Third Year Running

IDC included AT Consulting in its Competitive Profiles and Analysis of Leading IT Services Players in Russia, the second part of a study into the 2013 Russian IT service market. AT Consulting leads in three market segments.


The document is a detailed look at the market fr om the position of IT service providers in a variety of functional segments and economic sectors. According to the report, the Russian IT service market in 2013 grew by almost 8%, coming in at $7.7 billion, while AT Consulting’s income grew approximately 7% over 2012. In 2013 AT Consulting ran projects for major commercial and state organizations, including Alfa-Bank, VTB, B&N Bank, Nordea Bank, Sberbank, Leto Bank, Uralsib, Renaissance Credit, VimpelCom, Rostelecom, Azbuka Vkusa, the Cherkizovo Group, Rosseti, the Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System, Tyumenenergo, the Russian Ministry of Healthcare, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, and others.

AT Consulting is represented in three market segments, among which is application management outsourcing, wh ere it preserved its leadership to the tune of a 15.6% market share. IDC classified application management as services providing uninterrupted operations, support, and tuning for corporate application. Additionally, it includes support for end users as well as modernization, optimization, and update program package services. The segment was valued in 2013 at $196.23 million.

AT Consulting boosted its numbers among consulting service providers in the IT industry as well as application consulting and customization, taking fourth with a 5.5% share. In 2012 the company was only at fifth in the segment, one with services including modification for existing applications and setup of replicated software applications to meet special client requirements in addition to software evaluation contracts. Telecommunication companies, state organizations, and banks are the segment’s primary clients.

AT Consulting finished eighth among custom application developers with a 3.7% share. Services in this area include writing software code to order as well as developing interfaces and add-ons for existing replicated applications and standard software blocks. In 2013 the segment totaled $902.5 million.
