The Third Conference on Informatization of the Siberian Federal District took place in Belokurikha on January 16-19, 2014. This traditional event gathered heads of regional IT agencies in Siberia and their colleagues from federal government institutions. Some IT companies working with the government sector, Rostelecom, and AT Consulting Siberia also participated.
The representatives of Siberian regions had the opportunity to discuss problems connected with informatization of regional authorities and share their best practices on the past-year results. Particular emphasis was placed on RF Presidential Decree No. 601 “On the Main Directions of Public Administration System Improvement”. A number of IT solutions that enable the regions to reach the key indicators formulated in the Decree were represented at the event.
Considerable interest was expressed in the further formation of regional segments of e-Government in view of a new concept of development of electronic public services which had been confirmed by Dmitry Medvedev in December, 2013. The participants discussed the solutions for optimum integration of the regional software complexes with the key state information systems, namely, the Unified Portal of Public Services, the Interagency Electronic Interaction System, and the Unified Identification and Authentication System.
The representatives of IT integrators also took part in the discussion. “The conference permits to understand clients’ requirements in the direct communication with chief executives of IT agencies, - said Dmitry Gokov, CEO of AT Consulting Siberia. – Besides, we always pay great attention to the correspondence of our IT solutions to the state administration regulations and standards. The most important problem that is solved at the conference in Belokurikha is to find a compromise between these two vectors, mainly, clients’ requirements and statutory ones”.
