- In 2018, the Governor’s situational center of began to operate in Volgograd Region, which is a high-tech system under the Head of constituent entity, including modern hardware/software to monitor and analyze the current situation
- The system collects and processes data from various sources. It contains information from the state statistics, data from departments, reports from law enforcement agencies, etc.
- Information collected and stored in the database is involved in the analysis and forecast of the socio-economic development
- A separate work is analysis of the socio-political situation, analysis of the operational environment, control in the field of life safety
