The project team designed and implemented a solution that supports changes in the payment system without global improvements in each release. In addition, the simulator allows participating banks to use the interface on their own without the involvement of payment system specialists. MACS provides for flexible configuration of most objects, thanks to which banks can create their own test scenarios for the implementation of internal business projects.
Initially, the simulator only allowed testing authorization interaction with the payment system, but subsequently the team developed a separate module for clearing interaction. Experts linked these two activities in one solution and brought the simulator's work as close as possible to the real load. It is noteworthy that Mir became the first payment system to receive a solution with such functionality: other international systems do not support it.
