System for calculating the amount of net electricity supply based on SAP IS-U, Rosseti PJSC (IDGC of Siberia)
AT Consulting team has implemented a system for calculating the volume of productive output and electricity balances in IDGC of Siberia, which is part of
Rosseti. The solution is based on the SAP IS-U module.
During the project, the existing algorithms for calculating the volume of electricity transmitted to consumers were optimized. It helped to reduce, simplify and unify the calculation methods that existed for each branch.
Centralized regulatory directories were formed, which made it possible to switch to uniform rules and methods for maintaining basic and primary data. For efficient work of users in the system, an automated workstation was created, which simplified the process of entering information when preparing and carrying out calculations.
Work was done on the formation of energy balances, while using a single network topology created in the SAP PM module. The implementation made it possible to identify the centers of losses and form targeted bypasses to reduce commercial and technical losses.
The Mobile Controller application on the SAP Mobile Platform was also implemented. The solution is a modern mobile service for walkers. The module makes it possible to take readings from consumers, fix the geographical coordinates of the installation site of the meter, perform photo fixation, and also mark violations.
Data from the SAP IS-U system is transferred to the GIS for more informed management decisions. It displays metering devices, routes for mobile controllers and loss levels at power facilities.

SAP IS-U allowed IDGC of Siberia, PJSC to:
  • Increase process transparency, manageability and reliability
  • according to the calculation of net supply and balances of electricity
  • Reduce labor costs for data entry
  • Reduce the level of commercial
  • and technical losses
